I keep finding odd that she is a trained astronaut, had no accident or significant physical disability, and has never been and will never be selected for a mission, only one of two astronauts in such a situation, and it's impossible to mention this fact in her wikipedia entry without being reverted. It is unusual and should be covered in the article. We don't know why she wasn't assigned, and we should avoid wording the article to suggest any shortcomings on her part, since we have nothing to suggest there were any, but it is nevertheless a sad fact that unlike most admitted to the astronaut corps she never flew in space.
