Coins.[edit]

Coins for Quarter and Half ZiG are going to be released, according to [1]https://english.news.cn/20240406/da49ae38d2144842b29d7db49d9f18b2/c.html .

It will remain to be seen if this turns out to be the case. - (161.29.22.65 (talk) 09:08, 6 April 2024 (UTC))[reply]

Proposed merge of GBDT (digital token) into Zimbabwe Gold[edit]

Not enough material to justify separate page Broc (talk) 14:03, 9 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose~~ZiG currency and ZiG token(GDBT) are different and can't be merged as, one is a currency and the other is a investment instrument. GOLD$$$ (talk) 08:20, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

ISO 4217[edit]

My apprehension is that there is not, currently, an ISO 4217 code for this currency. It is thus not correct to list the code as ZiG (ZI is not assigned to Zimbabwe, and ZW is, and no letter has been given to the ZiG currency), but as "Not assigned" until reliable information on the ZiG's code is made available. Update: it appears that indeed there is no 4217 listed. I was misreading the infobox. Ellenor2000 (talk) 21:52, 28 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed redirect[edit]

ZiG should redirect to this article. 2601:5C5:4201:68B0:B17C:1145:B767:8AC6 (talk) 20:00, 30 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
