The Zoo Quest Expeditions, Vol. II[edit]

Did this book actually come out? It's listed as "in preparation" on the dust jacket of Vol. I, but I can find no reference to it on the web. -- Perodicticus 21:39, 7 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm now starting to think that the second volume may have been called Journeys to the Past. This book is listed on a number of sites and seems to cover the same countries as the latter three Zoo Quest books. Is there anyone out there who's seen a copy and can confirm whether it's a Zoo Quest compilation? -- Perodicticus 16:44, 8 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Somebody has erroneously inserted the ZQ in Paraguay theme as the familiar Bell Bird tune ... no, it was, in fact, Llegada, by Enrique Samaniego.. And I don't think we can assume that Los Paraguayos played it, though the small group of musicians shown in white attire at the beginning of the shows may have been them. Trevor H. Quest Under Capricorn is in colour[edit]

At least, the version in the BBC Collections is. Given its date, this can't have been for domestic TV transmission. Was the use of colour film for selling to countries (eg the US) that already had colour TV services, or was it for showing in cinemas? 31.50.62.158 (talk) 01:17, 10 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This BBC News story http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-36091147 suggests it was all shot in colour (much to the surprise of Attenborough and other surviving crewmembers) but only broadcast in black and white. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.9.31.12 (talk) 13:34, 20 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
