Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (your reason here) --31.53.249.159 (talk) 20:15, 16 December 2015 (UTC) It is clearly a new article and editing is incomplete[reply]

I tend to agree and have removed the speedy deletion template. I am as much a deletionist as they come, but I think we ought to hold off on this subject, please. I'm seeing much on the web indicating notabilty. I will try to help with this article myself. Coretheapple (talk) 21:19, 16 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sources[edit]

I'm not seeing much in Google News, but that is limited. However, a Google Books search[1] reveals (if you'll pardon the expression) quite a bit. I'm hoping to get Newspapers.com archives access momentarily, which will help. So I think this one should be OK. Coretheapple (talk) 21:28, 16 December 2015 (UTC) Correction: Google news archive search is encouraging[2]. We really ought to have more pre-Internet performers. Let's bend over backwards with this one, people. Coretheapple (talk) 21:49, 16 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If I fail, I promise to personally put this article out of its misery in an AfD. How about that? Coretheapple (talk) 21:47, 16 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure how wikipedia works but just FYI the link to Academy of Burlesque & Cabaret doesn't seem to be active anymore — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.73.97.108 (talk) 21:58, 9 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

(burlesque dancer)[edit]

As this is what lead and few sources say. Not an article with many similar to compare to. In ictu oculi (talk) 10:13, 17 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
