Context within Ismāʿīlism[edit]
This era was the golden age of political Ismāʿīlism that saw big support from the Yemen aligned Qahtani factions all over the Islamic world.
- Hamdani Ismaili states in Yemen (Sulayhids, Zurayids, Hamdanids)
- Hassan-i Sabah state in Daylam (Zaydi surrender of Al Amut castle)
- Kalbids Take over in Sicily (usurping the Aghlabids)
- Almanzor in Iberia (Defacto rule)
The Sunni Ayyubids were the main force that defeated the Ismaili power, with the Mongol invasion & conversion to Sunni Islam extinguishing the remains of Ismaili ramp states all over the Middle East Lionbridger (talk) 07:53, 24 October 2019 (UTC)
