As I see it, W. Marsh's changes should be reverted:
Firstly, zzz doesn't refer to an onomatopoeia for snoring. It is an onomatopoeia.
Secondly, there is nothing unencyclopedic in a well-humoured style of writing, as long as accuracy and informativeness are kept.

Onomatopoeia wikilink[edit]

Should that be linked here? It says that all three links are relevant in a comment, but onomatopoeia is fairly common knowledge. I do agree with you that it's probably more than is appropriate here, as was the link to Sleep. I've made an edit and removed the comment. (For the record, the comment found next to the entry read, "All three links are relevant here, but please don't over-link other entries.")

I agree that the multiple blue links, while "relevant", do not represent alternate articles on the primary subject. "ZZZ" refers to the sound of snoring, which makes that the most relevant article to link. I feel the explicit mention of the onomatopoeia and/or the indication of sleep in certain contexts is very acceptable to include, which i've done. However, i think linking to the two additional topics would be outside the guidelines of Wikipedia:Disambiguation dos and don'ts without any strong need.
