This template provides a semi-automated system for updating the previous season performances of football clubs in Australia. It should only be updated at the end of each season.
On this page[edit]
Teams are grouped by the league/division that they compete in. The first value is the league/division that the team competed in during the previous season, with a link to the competition's article.

The second value is the previous season that the team played in, with a link to the season article.
| MelbourneC2 = [[2022–23 A-League Men|2022–23]]
The third value is the position that the team finished in during the previous season. Following the position, it should also be listed if the team were premiers, champions, or if they were promoted or relegated.

On a team's page[edit]
On the team's page, the infobox should include the following values.
