  • This list-class article meets the requirements for new content and minimum length, but the hook is not followed by an inline citation and the article does not follow the general rule of a minimum of one citation per paragraph. There's a total of 96 references, but only 4 of these are in the first paragraph of the four paragraph article. The rest cover the list section. I think the image is OK as it carries the GNU Free Documentation License with permission confirmed on an OTRS ticket. Dawnseeker2000 03:48, 27 April 2012 (UTC)
  • According to WP:LEDE and to the opinion of other reviewers that evaluated other articles I worked in, I understand that the lead section is just a summary of the article below the table of contents, and it is therefore not mandatory to provide inline citations for the contents that is properly sourced in the following sections. However, seeing that a wide range of opinions can be found depending on the reviewer, I provided inline citations for some of the sentences in the introduction, as requested. In the particular case of Aeroflot Flight 593, I also provided a wikilink to the article dealing with the crash. Nevertheless, the last of the paragraph includes figures that arise from a summary of the table, i.e. the number of aircraft that were written off or the number of total fatalities for the decade. You cannot demand references for such statements, as you won't find any source supporting them. That said, and considering that every accident appearing in the table is properly sourced, I believe the article and the hook have no other major concerns. Finally, let me draw your attention to the fact that Template:Did you know nominations/Aeroflot accidents and incidents in the 1980s was passed, and that the corresponding article follows exactly the same layout, as it was also written almost entirely by me.   • As I was waking up this morning, I thought, you know, all the information was probably right in the table, but which I saw as too much information to gather for my tired eyes as I was reviewing last evening.
