Anna Heringer[edit]

DESI Vocational School, Rudrapur, Bangladesh, designed by Anna Heringer

Created/expanded by Ipigott (talk). Nominated by Elekhh (talk) at 00:41, 9 March 2012 (UTC)

The article checks out in terms of being brand new. Overall length checks out. Photo checks out. The hook is interesting, but at 239 characters, is over length. The article could use some scrubbing to make the tone less advertorial and to reword some phrasing that is lifted directly from sources.842U (talk) 13:51, 11 March 2012 (UTC)

I think you must have miscounted the number of characters. I make it about 185 and well within the limit. I'll look at the "advertorial tone" you refer too. Thanks for you interest. - Ipigott (talk) 14:12, 11 March 2012 (UTC)
I've been through the article and have adapted the prose along the lines you suggest. Please let me know if you are happy with it now. - Ipigott (talk) 14:56, 11 March 2012 (UTC)
I see how we're coming up with a different character count; I'm counting the characters before saving and you are counting after saving. Let's say that after saving is acceptable. In that case, I'll upgrade the status of the nomination to ready to go. 842U (talk) 19:25, 11 March 2012 (UTC)
The hook length criteria relates to the impact on the reader, so what matters are the number or characters counted as they appear on the screen, not the wikicode. Thanks for the improvements and review. --ELEKHHT 23:16, 11 March 2012 (UTC)
