• More than 1500 charaters - yes. "Prose size (text only): 1787 B (281 words) "readable prose size"
• Referencing; http://www.wellsfargohistory.com/states/florida.html maybe a primary source? And/or not a reliable source? It says at the bottom "By posting content on this Blog, you expressly grant Wells Fargo ..."... so, it sounds like a blog? Which sets off alarm bells.
• Hook "that the Jacksonville headquarters of Atlantic National Bank was the tallest building in the state of Florida when it was completed in 1909" is ref's 2 and 3. Ref 2 is "jaxhistory.com" - hmm... do we trust it? 3 is http://www.metrojacksonville.com/article/2008-mar-a-century-of-floridas-tallest-skyscrapers - which looks like a 'forum' thingy, to me?

Therefore: I suggest you either add better references (such as newspapers/books), or obtain consensus that the references used are genuinely reliable sources (with a 'reputation for fact-checking and accuracy') - you might do that over at WP:RSN. Given that wellsfargohistory.com is Wells Fargo's official history site (©2006 Wells Fargo Bank), I believe it should be considered reliable for a source for facts about Wells Fargo like any other primary source. I'll see if I can find better refs for the others. - The Bushranger _{One ping only} 01:08, 13 November 2011 (UTC)

The "jaxhistory.com" source is actually to Wayne Wood's book Jacksonville's Architectural Heritage, published by a university press (the University Press of Florida). Jaxhistory.com, the official website of the Jacksonville Historical Society, has just put parts of the book online. I included the web links for the benefit of the reader; I also own the book and can confirm that the information is there too. Metrojacksonville.com is a website that has a forum, but also publishes articles. The citation is to one of the articles.Cúchullain ^t/c 20:30, 13 November 2011 (UTC)

I suggest the following alternate hooks, which would link to the two building articles also recently expanded:
ALT1: ... that the Atlantic National Bank built two of Jacksonville, Florida's historic skyscrapers: 121 Atlantic Place, once the city's tallest, and the Schultz Building, listed on the National Register?
ALT2: ... that the Atlantic National Bank's headquarters narrowly lost a 1908 race to become Jacksonville, Florida's first skyscraper, but was taller than its competition, making it Florida's tallest building?

• Length, date and references check out for both the Atlantic National Bank and 121 Atlantic Place; the expansion is not big enough on the Schultz Building. Both of the first two articles have been checked for close paraphrasing, the only slight concerns all appear to be unavoidable.
