Auguste van Biene[edit]

Auguste van Biene, c. 1907

  • ... that Auguste van Biene (pictured) composed incidental music for the play The Broken Melody and performed the leading role of a cellist?

Created by Cassianto (talk), Tim riley (talk). Nominated by Gerda Arendt (talk) at 12:10, 16 September 2014 (UTC).

  • This article is new enough and long enough. The hook fact has an inline citation and the image is in the public domain. I detected no policy issues. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 13:33, 18 October 2014 (UTC)
  • Is Footnote 8 the cite for the first half of the hook? Please add a cite right after the first line under "The Broken Melody and later years", to satisfy DYK rules. Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 19:07, 22 October 2014 (UTC)
  • This is not, despite the note just posted on my talk page, my nomination, but the Times ref covers both halves of the hook, and I have added a duplicate link accordingly. Tim riley talk 19:22, 22 October 2014 (UTC)
  • Repeating my tick. I thought the citation adequate initially and now it is even better. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 13:10, 24 October 2014 (UTC)
