Australian cricket team in the West Indies in 1998–99

  • ... that the Australian cricket team's 1999 tour of the West Indies was the first four-match series in the history of Test cricket to finish 2–2? Source: "The only other four-match 2-2, the 1999 Frank Worrell Trophy, was a famous battle for the ages, as the accelerating Australian juggernaut was held at bay by the eminence of Brian Lara." [1]

  • Article expanded fivefold, nominated in time and within policy (neutral, has inline sources, free of close paraphrasing). Hook is interesting and sourced inline. QPQ review, which was done five years ago, checks out. The lead is quite long, per MOS:LEAD; a few paragraphs should be moved to/split into separate sections for better readability. The opening line of the second paragraph states "This was the 16th time the two teams were contesting the Frank Worrell Trophy and the 19th overall." Maybe it's me, but I've read and re-read this a few times, and I don't understand this. 16 times to contest a trophy and 19 overall? Thanks. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 18:09, 27 January 2020 (UTC)

Hi Lugnuts, I have reworded the sentence in the article to make it clearer. This was the 19th Test series between the teams and the 16th time they were contesting the Frank Worrell Trophy. The famous 1960–61 series which included the first tied Test was the first series to contest the trophy but there were three series between the teams before that – 1930–31, 1951–52 and 1954–55. Brilliant - that makes sense now! Thanks. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 07:49, 28 January 2020 (UTC)
