Battle of Palembang (1407)[edit]

Created by Cold Season (talk). Nominated by Zanhe (talk) at 05:28, 28 January 2019 (UTC).

  • Hi Zanhe, review follows: article created 21 January; article exceeds minimum length; article is well written and cited inline to reliable sources throughout; I am unable to access any of the sources to check for close paraphrasing but happy to AGF on this; hook facts are mentioned in the article and cited inline to reliable sources; I am unable to access these sources to check the facts but am happy to AGF on that; hook is interesting enough, though I will suggest a shortened ALT1 below which I think is snappier (though both are approved); QPQ has been carried out - Dumelow (talk) 19:58, 30 January 2019 (UTC)
ALT1: ... that in 1407, Admiral Zheng He's treasure fleet defeated the pirate force of Chen Zuyi and sent him back to China for execution?
@Dumelow: Thanks for your review. I know the original hook is a bit long, but I think the info about Chinese navy fighting Chinese pirates in Indonesia would make the hook more surprising and interesting. -Zanhe (talk) 00:10, 31 January 2019 (UTC)
I guess that is probably part of the interest. Like I say, I am more than happy for the original hook to run - Dumelow (talk) 08:10, 31 January 2019 (UTC)
