Benjamin Clementine[edit]

  • Date created good, length of hook and article good. Edmonton is linked to the Canadian town; you need Edmonton, London. "The" BBC Concert Orchestra: small t in the, and "apperance" --> appearance. "Transmusical de Rennes" needs italics, i.e. Transmusical de Rennes. Can you add a date of birth, or at least an approximate year? This article says he is 24 as of October 2013. Does "la révélation anglais des Francos" mean "the French's English revelation"? You need a comma after " Crystal Palace, London." Otherwise it seems fine. SlimVirgin (talk) 20:33, 29 December 2013 (UTC)
  • Are you suggesting I did a rush job on this before rushing out to a gig last night? :-P .... anyway, all issues are now as fixed as I can get them. I have gone with 1989 as the birth year, though if somebody slaps {{original research}} (which it is, technically, as I haven't seen a source confirming his actual birthday) then I'll have to accept it or fix it. "Francos" is not in an online French dictionary, but I believe it is colloquial slang that is broadly analogous to "The Brits" or "The Poms". Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 14:02, 30 December 2013 (UTC)
  • It's a very nice little article, so if this is a rush job, well done. :) Everything looks good to go, except that I think I'd say (born c. 1989). SlimVirgin (talk) 17:23, 30 December 2013 (UTC)
  • Done. (I almost thought I had a source but it was an unrelated picture from 1989 on the same page). Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 17:59, 30 December 2013 (UTC)
  • His Facebook page says 7 December 1988, but I don't know how reliable that is. I only searched on Google; didn't look at the site. If it's his own, not a fanpage, you could use it as a source. SlimVirgin (talk) 18:05, 30 December 2013 (UTC)
  • DYKcheck says "1488 characters" only. Too short. --PFHLai (talk) 04:01, 1 January 2014 (UTC)
The revision submitted to DYK is 1534.Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 08:47, 1 January 2014 (UTC)
The revision submitted to DYK had a bullet missing from a bullet-point, forcing DYKcheck to include non-prose in the "External link" section? --PFHLai (talk) 11:08, 1 January 2014 (UTC)
I brought the character total to 1528. Please add more if you can. Thanks. --PFHLai (talk) 11:30, 1 January 2014 (UTC)
It's now at 1868 characters. I can add more tidbits from French sources, but I'd rather keep it concise and not waffle. Reports from the sources do suggest they will be writing more about him this coming year, so I expect the article to be substantially expanded over that time. Looking good now! Confirming that the article is now longer than the 1500-character minimum. No concerns with copyvio / close paraphrasing / BLP violation / neutrality in the latest additions by Ritchie333 (talk · contribs). --PFHLai (talk) 15:36, 1 January 2014 (UTC)
