Everything checks out - within time limits, just long enough (1518 characters), neutral, sourced, no copyvio. But I would suggest a slight article rewrite to clarify and give it more general interest. The hook fact is in the lede, but unsourced. Later in the article the facts are sourced, but the hook is obscured by jargon. So it isn't obvious to a non-expert. Suggest sourcing lede or rewriting the last para in layman's terms.
