C. A. Roberts[edit]

  • - Everything checks out, but I'd like to see this article go through a thorough copyedit before I'm comfortable passing it. Points of concern: "His religion was Christian he was involved in many community associations...", "He ran successfully for representative in the Florida House of Representatives for Union County in 1950, which for two sessions until 1952.", " He later married Marjorie Mizelle Lascola and remained married to him (him?)". Have at it. I agree, I'm not usually the best writer. – Connormah (talk) 20:56, 18 December 2011 (UTC)
  • I did a thorough copyedit. (Connormah, when you cite books, please note that "Google Books" is not the publisher, and when possible, you can find an ISBN number on Amazon.com.) Article age, length, referencing all fine. May I suggest this alt hook:
  • ALT1: ... that Florida state legislator C. A. Roberts was named to the first Board of Union County Commissioners at the age of 18? Yoninah (talk) 21:04, 25 December 2011 (UTC)
Sure, sounds good. Thanks for the CE. And for the citations, I used reflinks for the refs, I'm pretty lazy, will try to touch up on them next time. – Connormah (talk) 06:55, 26 December 2011 (UTC)
  • ALT1 good to go. Yoninah (talk) 08:25, 26 December 2011 (UTC)
