Campo troupial[edit]

Campo troupial
Campo troupial
  • ... that one individual Campo troupial was found to have the larvae of 126 flies in its stomach? Source: "Insects in stomach contents included 126 larvae of flies"

5x expanded by Cwmhiraeth (talk). Self-nominated at 10:18, 22 October 2017 (UTC).

  • Comment: The hook is somewhat confusing without the image to explain what a Campo troupial is, so I request a hook slot for this nomination. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 07:02, 29 October 2017 (UTC)
  • Well expanded article, long enough, new enough and no obvious signs of copyvio. My only issue is that unless you know what a Campo troupia is, the hook is somewhat lost on you. If this could be promoted with a picture of the bird alongside, then the context would be more than sufficient to make the hook more interesting. Suggest you add a pic/caption and request the pic slot for this. The Rambling Man (talk) 20:41, 23 October 2017 (UTC)
@The Rambling Man: Thanks, I missed this. I didn't like the image originally in the article because the bird was in a cage. However I find there are other images available and I have replaced it and added one to this nomination. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 07:02, 29 October 2017 (UTC)
good to go for me now it's clear that it's an impressive task to squeeze 126 larvae into a bird so slight. The Rambling Man (talk) 10:19, 29 October 2017 (UTC)
