  • Comment: Sorry, a bit late again, there was RL and referencing Cleobury. - The program only says "Herr Demmer, and there are several.

  • This article is long enough and just about new enough. We need a citation for Demmer being acquainted with Beethoven. The article is neutral and I detected no copyright or plagiarism issues. A QPQ has yet to be done. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:51, 2 December 2019 (UTC)
I reviewed now Template:Did you know nominations/Heat-pipe tectonics, will look for a ref soon. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:46, 2 December 2019 (UTC)
I overlooked the "presumably" and dropped the Bonn episode.
ALT1: ... that the tenor Carl Demmer was possibly Beethoven's first Florestan at the Vienna Court Opera, but failed to please the composer? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:11, 2 December 2019 (UTC)
@Gerda Arendt: ALT1 will be fine, but we need a citation for the hook fact. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 07:12, 9 December 2019 (UTC)
I added one [1]. Whoever sang Florestan in that performance, didn't please anyone, and Beethoven - according to the source - was profoundly dissatisfied, and he was replaced, after only 3 performances, for the next round while other singers remained (both acts p. 86). --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:48, 9 December 2019 (UTC)
  • Thank you. Approving ALT1. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 18:55, 9 December 2019 (UTC)
