  • ... that among the ten longest and deepest caves in India, the first nine are in Meghalaya (pictured) and the longest is the Krem Liat Prah which is 31 km (19 mi) long in Jaintia Hills?

Interesting facts, on good sources. I find the first hook to complicated and the ALT not as interesting as the threat by the limestone mining might be. Want to try that? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:01, 27 July 2015 (UTC)
ALT2: ... that limestone mining for cement industry has become a major threat to the Caves of Meghalaya (pictured)? --Nvvchar. 06:41, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
Better, but please get Longest and deepest back somehow, and we don't need to advertise cement industry ;) - Hint: get the subject in front. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 06:53, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
ALT3 ... that among the ten longest and deepest caves in India, the first nine are in Meghalaya (pictured) but some are under threat due to limestone mining? --Nvvchar. 08:10, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
My version of that:
ALT4 ... that the Caves of Meghalaya (expedition pictured), among the longest and deepest caves in India, are threatened by limestone mining?
Other wordsmiths welcome ;) - The image is free, but not too exciting in small size.
