Chartist Mural, Newport[edit]

Detail of Chartist Mural, Newport

  • ... that public protests failed to stop the destruction of the 200,000 piece Chartist Mural in Newport, Wales, installed to commemorate the Chartist rising of 1839?"

Created by Sionk (talk), Ghmyrtle (talk). Nominated by Sionk (talk) at 20:23, 9 October 2013 (UTC).

  • New, long enough and no obvious policy violations. Passes earwig test.
  • Blurb is an appropriate length and interesting. Information is neutral and cited in article. Suggest using Newport Rising as a wl without masking, but not a dealbreaker.
  • Editor has reviewed another article. Proposed image is public domain. Possibly a bit difficult to make out as a thumb.
