Claudia Corichi García[edit]

5x expanded by Raymie (talk). Self-nominated at 05:05, 13 August 2016 (UTC).

  • Expansion done, length good. QPQ completed. 0% chance of copyvio, and no close parahrasing found. Hook is short, netural, interesting and sourced by a RS. Accepted to good faith due to source being in Spanish. MWright96 (talk) 11:49, 17 August 2016 (UTC)
  • @Raymie and MWright96: - Came to promote this but while reviewing the hook I ran into something that needs clarification, 1) The article does not use the term "Citizen's Movement" anywhere except the category 2) The word "director" is not used but "president" is and 3) The hook makes it sound like he left just because she joined the party, but that's not how the article presents it, it almost sounds like it was a personal thing. The article (via chrome translate) presents it as "explained that political congruence decided to leave the party because it does not share the national vision this political institute." - he left because he did not share the party's vision, not just because she joined. We need to be 100% on point for a front page article.  MPJ-DK  14:10, 20 August 2016 (UTC)
  • @MPJ-DK: I probably need to be more consistent on translating the name of the party, I must admit. The first paragraph is what justifies the hook: "La llegada de Claudia Corichi, hija de la ex gobernadora, Amalia García Medina, a Movimiento Ciudadano, así como otras decisiones que se tomaron desde la dirigencia nacional, fueron las causas que, a decir de Saúl Monreal, lo orillaron a dejar la dirigencia estatal de dicho partido." - "The arrival of Claudia Corichi, daughter of ex-governor Amalia García Medina, in Citizens' Movement, as well as other decisions that were taken at the national level, were the reasons that, according to Saúl Monreal, pushed him to leave [his position as] the state director of said party." Raymie (tc) 16:36, 20 August 2016 (UTC)
  • I'm adding another local source that agrees with the hook's interpretation. Raymie (tc) 16:38, 20 August 2016 (UTC)
  • @Raymie: - the translation "Citizens' Movement" did not appear in the article at all, only in the hook, so I have added the translation in. Now it's ready to go  MPJ-DK  00:13, 22 August 2016 (UTC)
