This article is new enough and long enough. It is neutral and I found no copyright problems in the spot checks I made. I think the hook needs to be reworded, perhaps including the word "officially". Something like

ALT1 ... that in 2001, Cliff Lett broke the official land speed record for radio-controlled cars, exceeding 100mph for the first time? Cwmhiraeth (talk) 07:40, 28 January 2016 (UTC)
