  • Article is long enough and new enough. Well sourced and spot-checking reveals not copyvio or unduly close paraphrasing. The hook is short enough and is supported by an in-line citation. QPQ complete. All looks good. Cbl62 (talk) 03:31, 8 May 2012 (UTC)
  • Promotion comment: the hook was confusing in that it could be read that the team vice president had a son named Dan, not that the veep himself was Dan. Also, the Marlins have many vice presidents, so "the [Marlins] team vice president" was somewhat misleading. The hook that is being placed into a prep area has been revised and edited as follows:
