  • The article isn't long enough. Technically, about +150 characters required, more would be better. Also requires some copyediting, particularly around the word "until". If the information already in the article were to be edited for better clarity, especially of the career timeline (dates and such), the character threshold might be met (e.g. the lead says BCSC appointment was in 2010 without inline citation which means the claim should be repeated with inline citation in the body). The article may be a bit on the negative side considering it's a very short BLP but that's just my suspicion. Note, however, that the quote is not a direct quote in the source. I would expect indirect quotes to be further paraphrased not turned into direct quotes. Looks otherwise fine. (My first-ish review as my fifth DYK is in the prep queue, so let's make this a two-way review please. Thanks!) Usedtobecool ☎️ 19:33, 10 January 2020 (UTC)
  • ok, it's got the big green one from me. (Note to promoter: My first approval.) Usedtobecool ☎️ 17:04, 11 January 2020 (UTC)
  • @Usedtobecool: Please provide a review that explicitly confirms that the five main DYK criteria have been met. An optional Reviewer's Template is located above the edit window. Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 00:53, 24 January 2020 (UTC)
  • the article was new enough at the time of the nom, it is long enough, there are no copyvio concerns, I am satisfied that it meets the neutrality and BLP requirements, there are inline citations for all non-redundant claims, the hook is verified, the facts in the hook are in the article with inline citations immediately accompanying them, I can not think of a more interesting hook, and a QPQ has been completed. So, it's good to go. Usedtobecool ☎️ 17:53, 25 January 2020 (UTC)
  • Hi, I came by to promote this, but the article seems very sketchy; the kind of career outline you'd read in an alumni bulletin. Can you add any biographical, educational, or personal details about him? Yoninah (talk) 20:19, 25 January 2020 (UTC)
  • Okay, I'll work on it. There is very little about his personal life. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 01:53, 26 January 2020 (UTC)
  • OK, I added another source with a little more biographical info. I tweaked the hook. Restoring tick per Usedtobecool's review. Yoninah (talk) 14:25, 7 February 2020 (UTC)
