Eduard Pechuël-Loesche[edit]

  • ... that the plant Pechuel-Loeschea leubnitziae was named after Eduard Pechuël-Loesche and his wife Elsbeth, and is quite possibly a unique case of genus and species honouring a husband and wife respectively?

  • Article age and length are acceptable, and the hook is interesting (I immediately started trying to find counter-examples in my head!), but the referencing is not good enough. The hook fact is not cited at all, and does not appear in the one cited reference available to me (which is formatted as a bare URL). This source may back up the hook, but the remainder of the article would still be under-referenced. --Stemonitis (talk) 18:04, 1 December 2011 (UTC)
