Einer ist unser Leben

  • Reviewed: to come
  • Comment: Much could be said about this hit-hymn, but hard to keep it short. Help welcome. From the text: "Many are misjudged and ridiculed, discriminated. One took care of the defenseless and had mercy on the poor." Zenetti knew how to say something concisely.

Created/expanded by Gerda Arendt (talk). Self-nominated at 11:26, 20 August 2020 (UTC).

  • New enough and long enough. No QPQ done. A couple of the references are incomplete. I think the hook would be better if it reflected the meaning you expressed in your comment rather than just it was recommended for an event. Perhaps a hook on the topic of "Christology from below"? The information about the Jean Liesse melody needs to be clearer. The date is not in the article body, and it sounds as if it was a pre-existing melody, in which case that should be stated. CMD (talk) 15:48, 22 August 2020 (UTC)
Thank you for looking, almost sooner than I was ready. I tried to find out about the melody, see? Will keep you posted. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:05, 22 August 2020 (UTC)

Gerda Arendt, I note the year of the melody has been added. If you have been unable to find out more information on the matter, if you could fill out reference 3 I will pass this. CMD (talk) 10:22, 5 September 2020 (UTC)
CMD, I can not fill out ref 3 further - I mean it's just the composer's VIAF entry, confirming that the jazz performer and the author of the melody are the same person - but I added what the BNF has, - still not much, he remains some mystery, - sorry about that. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 17:14, 13 September 2020 (UTC)
Sorry, I missed this ping. Thanks for the edits. CMD (talk) 09:22, 26 September 2020 (UTC)
