Elephant racing[edit]

Circus elephants in Germany

  • ... that elephant racing held with 16 circus elephants (picture of circus elephants in Germany) became a major event (though it generated protests) in Germany in 2000, and was an organized International event held in Nepal in 1982?

Article is recent enough and long enough, no glaring policy violations, no copyvios found. Hook is interesting, suitably quirky and just under the length limit, although I'd recommend stripping it down to ALT1 "... that elephant racing became a major sporting event in Germany in 2000, and was an organized International event held in Nepal in 1982?" Image has correct licensing for free use, and would look okay at 100px, not sure how well it illustrates the article, though. QPQ pending; once that's done, I reckon this is okay to promote. • ALT1 Hook suggestion is accepted. I am sure you would want the image to be included in the hook. Thanks. QPQ also done.--Nvvchar. 12:17, 5 April 2013 (UTC)
QPQ done, good to go. Yunshui  13:09, 5 April 2013 (UTC)
