Eziler, Güney

  • ... that the village of Eziler in Turkey owns a girls' floor hockey team although it has no gym? Source: "... Eziler Hokey Takımı'nı kurdu", "... kurulan kız hokey takımı ...", "Mahallede spor salonu bulunmaması ..."[1] (in Turkish)

General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems
Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
QPQ: Done.

Overall: The article tells a lovely story about sports initiative in in a Turkish village. There are just two issues, easily resolved:

  • ALT1 needs to be rephrased to Standard English. Please give us an ALT2 which says something like: ... that in the village of Eziler, an instructor introduced over a dozen different sports which were uncommon in Turkey?
  • Your QPQ cannot be used here because A. that DYK nomination was disqualified, and B. your review is now missing and cannot be verified. Please do another one?

I have copyedited the article; that should not affect the DYK process. If you could please resolve the above issues, this nomination should be good to go. Storye book (talk) 11:08, 19 April 2022 (UTC)

  • ALT2 ... that in the village of Eziler, an instructor introduced over a dozen different sports which were uncommon in Turkey?
  • for ALT0 and ALT2 which I can now approve. Citations in Turkish are taken in good faith, although Google Translate does indicate that the citations support the hooks. Thank you, CeeGee for your response. For your information, the problem with your original QPQ was not that it was disqualified or rejected, and I accept that you correctly rejected it. The problem was that there was consequently no normal QPQ for me to review and tick. So thank you for your patience in doing a second one. Good to go, now. WP has benefited from your extra work, and that does not go unnoticed. Storye book (talk) 15:26, 19 April 2022 (UTC)
Used alt0, but changed "owns" to "has". Kingsif (talk) 22:11, 20 April 2022 (UTC)
