Fasciated tiger heron[edit]

Adult fasciated tiger heron

  • ... that the fasciated tiger heron (pictured) is named for the black and buff stripes on its neck and back?

5x expanded by MeegsC (talk). Self nominated at 23:25, 28 January 2015 (UTC).

  • I know I need to do a QPQ; will choose one this evening. MeegsC (talk) 23:28, 28 January 2015 (UTC)
  • This article is a fivefold expansion and is new enough and long enough. The hook fact has an inline citation, the article is neutral and I detected no close paraphrasing/copyright issues. The image is appropriately licensed, so all we are waiting for is the QPQ review. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 10:09, 4 February 2015 (UTC)
@MeegsC: It's been a week since this was last reviewed but a QPQ has not been supplied. Could you please add one relatively soon. Fuebaey (talk) 12:07, 11 February 2015 (UTC)
Sorry @Fuebaey:—I've been in Guyana since late January with terrible internet connections! I'm in the Miami airport at the moment and should be home sometime tomorrow. Will do QPQ as soon as I'm there. MeegsC (talk) 01:57, 12 February 2015 (UTC)
@Fuebaey: I've now reviewed The Battle of Palmdale. MeegsC (talk) 04:43, 17 February 2015 (UTC)
  • QPQ has now been done so this is ready to go with either hook. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:07, 17 February 2015 (UTC)
