Graham Oaks Nature Park[edit]

Entrance to the park

  • ... that an estimated 100 million wildflower and grass seeds were spread at Graham Oaks Nature Park (pictured) before it opened to the public?

  • Meets all the criteria. However, I would think a hook along the lines of the following would be more interesting.
alt1 "... that Graham Oaks Nature Park (pictured) had just one oak tree when it was opened to the public?" CMD (talk) 15:19, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
  • While the second hook is catchy, it is not in the article, so we can't use it. While one news article cited does claim that as a fact, the problem is that it is simply not accurate. There is only one large, mature oak at the park. But, during the planting process before the park opened, they planted a whole bunch of them, so there are a whole bunch of other oak trees, they are just little things that you would not recognize as an oak tree. I'm open to other hooks though. Aboutmovies (talk) 16:45, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
  • Right. Yes, I must have got that from the source rather than the article in a moment of absentmindedness. The word "mature" could simply then be added to the hook, it's what the source was probably trying to say anyway. CMD (talk) 17:29, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
