  • Reviewed: to come
  • Comment: Better hook or wording of it welcome. "Wir schaffen das" is a quite famous saying of Angela Merkel, so I guess we don't need a translation.

  • Comment: Hi there Gerda Arendt, you deserve a donation from me too. (A cheesy note: I hope my dear majesty accepts this humble hooky review, and in memoriam) Template:Did you know nominations/Raymond Arritt :3 VincentLUFan (talk) (Kenton!) 19:09, 13 September 2020 (UTC)
I receive the donation with pleasure, but could do without "majesty", - sista seemed better ;) - Remember? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 19:51, 13 September 2020 (UTC)
  • This article is new enough and long enough. The hook facts are cited inline, the article is neutral and I detected no copyright issues. A QPQ has been donated. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:12, 14 September 2020 (UTC)
  • Gerda for those of us who don't know German and/or have never heard Angela Merkel say this, please provide a translation. Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 22:02, 16 September 2020 (UTC)
I thought that a hook is to make readers curious. - Which translation? My translation woulf be "Hilde, you'll manage". The phrase article has "you will make it!"; "you can manage this"; "you can do it"; "you can do this". None of them carries the original meaning of "schaffen". Pick one - who am I to judge? - I think it makes the hook clumsy. It was ten year before the famous phrase, btw, so no quote. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 05:05, 17 September 2020 (UTC)
  • Thank you. We'll use what you used in the article. Yoninah (talk) 12:39, 17 September 2020 (UTC)
