Jean Clédat, Bawit[edit]

  • ... that Jean Clédat uncovered the monastery of Apa Apollo, founded in the fourth century, whilst excavating at Bawit in the winter of 1903?

Created/expanded by Dr. Blofeld (talk), Rosiestep (talk). Nominated by Dr. Blofeld (talk) at 17:07, 26 March 2012 (UTC)

  • Jean Clédat ONLY: Length is 2508 characters, well cited, neutral, good hook. --Quantum7 19:02, 29 March 2012 (UTC)
  • Bawit technically meets the length guidelines (1739), but is currently rated as a stub by three wikiprojects. Either expand Bawit to at least a class C article, or else just list it as a Jean Clédat DYK. --Quantum7 01:03, 3 April 2012 (UTC)
  • I don't believe any DYK nomination can be required to be C class; most of the ones I've reviewed and submitted have been Start class, which is between Stub and C. DYK only has a prohibition against Stub-class articles, or articles that seem to be stubs regardless of class assigned on the talk page. BlueMoonset (talk) 01:20, 3 April 2012 (UTC)
  • Bawit now classified as Start class. I don't see any other problems.
  • QPQ, Dr Blofeld, please ? --PFHLai (talk) 01:57, 30 March 2012 (UTC)
  • QPQ: either two for Dr Blofeld, or one each from Dr Blofeld and from Rosiestep, please, since this is a two-article nomination. BlueMoonset (talk) 02:08, 30 March 2012 (UTC)
  • This is a two-article nomination, yet the review only mentions a single length (which matches the Jean Clédat article length). The Bawit article is currently still listed as a stub, and cannot be one if it is to be eligible for inclusion in this nomination; its length looks okay, but I'll leave it to the original reviewer to do a full review of that article. BlueMoonset (talk) 02:01, 30 March 2012 (UTC)
  • Sorry, I didn't notice that Bawit was included in the nomination. Fixing now. --Quantum7 01:03, 3 April 2012 (UTC)
  • Bewit meets criteria for Start class; re-assessed. --Rosiestep (talk) 02:52, 3 April 2012 (UTC)
Bawit isn't a stub.♦ Dr. Blofeld 09:42, 3 April 2012 (UTC)
  • I agree with the classification as Start. Approving.
(Note: sig omitted from above line; was entered 18:06, 4 April 2012 (UTC) by Quantum7)
  • Adding all-important tick that was omitted (along with sig, which I have inserted based on History entry) from previous. BlueMoonset (talk) 18:20, 4 April 2012 (UTC)
