Thank you for the review, Doug, and belated happy birthday! - I reviewed Template:Did you know nominations/First Baptist Church (Toronto). - The English bio is under the external references, because Francis Schonken claimed at WP:RS that Bach Cantatas Website is not a reliable source. - We can shorten the hook wherever you like, suggestions:
ALT1: ... that the Dutch baritone John Bröcheler first sang concerts including world premieres, but was "discovered" for opera in a role of Donzetti's Maria Stuarda alongside Joan Sutherland?
ALT2: ... that John Bröcheler first sang concerts, but entered an opera career appearing in Donzetti's Maria Stuarda alongside Joan Sutherland at the De Nederlandse Opera?
ALT3: ... that the opera roles of baritone John Bröcheler include a wealthy Croatian landowner and a male deer? - which is possibly too quirky, and would need to go to the article ... - just that it is the latter role in which I saw him, - also some confession of age ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:23, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
  • ALT1 & ALT2 hooks AGF. Article length of over 2500 characters is good for the new article. Age of 3 days is fine. No copyvio or plagiarism concerns. Reliable sources are used. QPQ has been done. Article is Good To Go.--Doug Coldwell (talk) 16:26, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
  • Hi, I came by to promote this, but tagged one paragraph that needs a cite per Rule D2. Yoninah (talk) 12:53, 18 February 2020 (UTC)
found one and added, was even good for some more details --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:32, 18 February 2020 (UTC)
  • Thank you. Restoring tick per Doug Coldwell's review. Yoninah (talk) 15:13, 18 February 2020 (UTC)
