I get 235 characters for hook length. Shouldn't the hook be under 200 characters. I noticed there is a short biography on him in English here. Perhaps you could use his picture as a Fair Use for the article. I'll continue with the review after the hook issue is resolved and the QPQ has been done. Thank you for the review, Doug, and belated happy birthday! - I reviewed Template:Did you know nominations/First Baptist Church (Toronto). - The English bio is under the external references, because Francis Schonken claimed at WP:RS that Bach Cantatas Website is not a reliable source. - We can shorten the hook wherever you like, suggestions:

ALT1: ... that the Dutch baritone John Bröcheler first sang concerts including world premieres, but was "discovered" for opera in a role of Donzetti's Maria Stuarda alongside Joan Sutherland?

ALT2: ... that John Bröcheler first sang concerts, but entered an opera career appearing in Donzetti's Maria Stuarda alongside Joan Sutherland at the De Nederlandse Opera?
