Kathleen Hite[edit]

  • ... that Kathleen Hite, scriptwriter for Gunsmoke, accepted a job as a secretary at CBS so she could badger them into letting her write? Source: "CBS had a policy against hiring women writers so I hired on as a secretary. I figured once I got inside the building I could destroy them from within...I badgered the head of the writing department until he gave me a chance to write." ([1])
    • ALT1:... that at the time when CBS only employed women as secretaries, Kathleen Hite accepted the position only so she could convince them to let her write?

  • This is one of my first reviews but everything looks fine to me. The article was created within the last seven days at the time of the nomination, is over the required prose size, and has no copyvio concerns (according to Earwig). Both hooks are interesting and I do not have a preference. Both are sourced with inline citations. QPQ is also done. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 20:04, 5 April 2019 (UTC)
