Khalifah (film)[edit]

An example of a woman wearing a niqab, from Yemen

  • ... that the Indonesian film Khalifah has been described as an invitation for people to discuss the wearing of the niqab (example pictured)?
  • ALT1:... that a reviewer described Khalifah as a "veiled warning" to Indonesians about wearing the niqab (example pictured)?
  • ALT2:... that the main character of Khalifah finds "a sort of freedom" through wearing the niqab (example pictured)?

  • The article is only 1,024 words long; 476 words short of the 1,500 word minimum. GorillaWarfare (talk) 03:47, 23 December 2011 (UTC)
  • Actually, per DYK Rule 2A, the minimum length is 1500 characters. This article meets that even without the plot and lede. Crisco 1492 (talk) 04:26, 23 December 2011 (UTC)

  • My apologies! Shows what I know. All of these look fine in terms of length/citations/etc. I personally like ALT1 for its punniness. The image is fine as well. — Preceding unsigned comment added by GorillaWarfare (talkcontribs) 06:17, 24 December 2011 (UTC)
