Koji Mitsui[edit]

Created/expanded by Muboshgu (talk). Self nom at 22:35, 6 December 2011 (UTC)

  • Well, the way it works is that a player under contract in Japan who wants to play in the US requests his team "post" him to MLB. If the team consents, they inform the commissioner of MLB, and then all teams in MLB hold a silent auction to determine who gets the rights to negotiate a contract with said player. In Mitsui's case, he requested his team post him twice in the same offseason, they agreed to post him both times, and no MLB team bid on him either time. So I think the original is closer to the mark, but some rewriting could be appropriate. – Muboshgu (talk) 15:31, 14 December 2011 (UTC)
  • Pls use at least one inline citation per paragraph, per WP:DYKSG#D2. --PFHLai (talk) 06:36, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
    • Done. The stats site was an external link, but now I've used it for inline citations. – Muboshgu (talk) 15:18, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
