  • Alt1: ... that Norwegian Colonel Kristian "Kongo" Løken fought against Germany in both the First and the Second World War?
I prefer the alt hook myself, but I'm not 100% sure if it's okay to refer to a person with his last rank when the hook deals with a long time-span. I might also favour dropping the "Norwegian" (see Alt2). Any advice is appreciated. Manxruler (talk) 16:57, 11 August 2012 (UTC)

Really nice article. Length, date checks out, AGF on off-line sources. I prefer ALT1, as 'Norwegian' is what makes the hook interesting. There would be hordes of British, American and French officers having served in both wars, but since Norway was not fighting in WWI it makes the hook a bit special. The fact that he was not a 'Norwegian Colonel' in WWI is less relevant in this context, the important is that he later became one. --Soman (talk) 08:09, 14 August 2012 (UTC)

  • Thanks. I'm still working on the article, so I'm aiming for further improvement. I agree with regards to which is better hook. Alt1 it is then. Manxruler (talk) 09:36, 14 August 2012 (UTC)
