  • Is there any chance we could get a total number of players who have defected from Cuba in the hook? Other than that, it looks fine. Go Phightins! 22:58, 31 March 2013 (UTC)
  • Well, I counted 48 players through a head count in the list, so I guess this would be the hook:

ALT1: ... that 48 baseball players have defected from Cuba during events such as the Mariel boatlift and the 1996 Summer Olympics? ZappaOMati 23:02, 31 March 2013 (UTC)

  • To be truthful, we can't get a number right now. I'm finding more and more examples through my research. I just came across Euclides Rojas, who needs to be added. – Muboshgu (talk) 23:07, 31 March 2013 (UTC)
  • Since we cannot get a firm number, the first hook is fine. Go Phightins! 20:33, 7 April 2013 (UTC)
    • Something like "... that over 40 baseball players..." would work if a number is desired. --ThaddeusB (talk) 01:45, 8 April 2013 (UTC)
      • Yeah, or something like "dozens of baseball players"; I thought of that too. Either way. Go Phightins! 01:46, 8 April 2013 (UTC)
