Marion Talley[edit]

  • Would you consider the following wording instead? ALT1: ... that when nineteen-year-old Marion Talley (pictured) made a much-heralded debut at the Metropolitan Opera in 1926, she was the youngest prima donna to have performed there? (It tells us "where" before we get the "there", and identifies the person before we get the pronoun "her".) Otherwise, it seems good to go, and the image is appropriately licensed. • I prefer my wording, but I have no particularly strong feelings either way and would be fine with either version. Thanks. Gamaliel (talk) 17:26, 24 July 2013 (UTC)
Okey-doke. Will just excise the "there", which is strongly implied by the context, and make copyedits per MOS:HYPHEN and WP:NUMERAL on expressing ages. It was an interesting and enjoyable article to read. You should base a screenplay on it. Cynwolfe (talk) 22:37, 25 July 2013 (UTC)
