Martin Krumbiegel[edit]

Created by Dr. Blofeld (talk), Gerda Arendt (talk). Nominated by Gerda Arendt (talk) at 14:03, 24 April 2013 (UTC).

  • Sources look good. Article is long enough and new enough. I got three minor issues, though:
  • Three consecutive sentences start with "He has been..." could that perhaps be rephrased?
  • Source 4 is called "Martin Krumbiegel" in the Wikipedia article, but that's not the actual name of the page itself
  • The page is called differently, but the relevant passage is called MK: Tried a combination of both. Gerda Arendt (talk)
  • And regarding the hook: are you sure the sentence structure "soloist as the Evangelist" is correct?
  • There are two solo parts in the pieces, Evangelist and arias, he did Evangelist, how to word that? Gerda Arendt (talk)
  • A pass on my first two concerns, but I'm still not too sure about the hook so I'm giving someone else a try at reviewing this.—♦♦ AMBER(ЯʘCK) 14:47, 8 May 2013 (UTC)
Suggestion for an alt below. AgneCheese/Wine 05:25, 15 May 2013 (UTC)
  • Thanks for trying, but as explained above there are two tenor parts in both works, yes typically sung by the same person to reduce costs, but not here, so we have to be specific. We could drop "tenor", but then we would miss telling people who don't know that for Bach the Evangelist in the Passions is a tenor, that Mr. Krumbiegel is a tenor, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 06:10, 15 May 2013 (UTC)
  • Now that we approach Pentecost, we might say:

More quirky:

Approved all but to me the main hook is by far the most interesting. After that I'd go with alt2 or alt3. PumpkinSky talk 11:15, 18 May 2013 (UTC)

  • The main hook is certainly the most interesting, but Pentecost is not the time for Passions. If you use that wait until Tuesday the least, please. - If you want something for Pentecost, this is for 19 May, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:34, 18 May 2013 (UTC)
