  • The article was promoted within a week of the nomination, is long enough, and doesn't present any outstanding issues. (I haven't gone through the entire text but I trust the GA review was adequate.) QPQ done. Hooks ALT0, ALT1, ALT3 and ALT4 verified. Prefer ALT4, since it's most real-world-related and not dependent on Buddhist beliefs (as ALT3 (which I've modified the wording to say bad karma) is).

  • ALT0 is okay, while ALT1 isn't very interesting IMO (there's also a minor detail which I'll further query on the talk page).
  • I'm not quite convinced of the wording of ALT2. "... had the first ever Buddha image made" sounds like he was the one who ordered the image built, which isn't the case. Feel free to suggest a rewording if you like, otherwise we can go with the remaining hooks.
  • I like the image, but it needs to identify which figure the subject is, and the hooks should also do so with e.g. (pictured, standing right).
  • I've modified the image licence tag, since PD-100 wasn't quite accurate. --Paul_012 (talk) 08:21, 16 April 2018 (UTC)
