Sufficient prose length; hook under 200 characters; appears fairly neutral (though the line about "elegant" effect of the figures might be modified to state who thought it was elegant); reliable seeming sources and hook cited; spot check found no infringement; in short everything appears fine except that you appear to have more than five past nominations but have not yet met the review requirement. - Sidenote: I like the painting and I like the idea of fine art appearing on the main page more than many other things that appear, but because the painting is a nocturne, and thus relatively dark, I don't think it shows up well at small sizes.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 04:56, 19 December 2011 (UTC)
- I'll be happy to review other DYK nominations, but might not be able to do so for a while--things are getting busy this week, and my retirement banner will look more appropriate. In the meantime you may keep this on hold or deny the request, as you like. I'm not attached to the outcome, just think the information is of interest.
