Messelite[edit]

Messelite from the Rapid Creek area of northern Yukon, Canada.

  • ... that the mineral messelite (pictured) was described in 1890, discredited in 1940, reinstated and named neomesselite in 1955, and named messelite once again by 1959?

  • Checks out to me. Article is solid, new enough, and contains the hook and citations for it. Picture checks out fine too. Not sure if the mineral names should be italicised in the hook, though; I'd stick them inside quote marks instead (the article title itself isn't italicised so I'm assuming the italics here are just for emphasis).
