Middleham Hoard[edit]

Reverse of a cast counterfeit Eight Reales of Philip IV of Spain

  • ... that the Middleham Hoard from Yorkshire included seven Spanish-American reales but only two of them were real (unreal real pictured)?

Created by PatHadley (talk), Johnbod (talk), BabelStone (talk). Nominated by BabelStone (talk) at 21:51, 9 February 2014 (UTC).

  • New enough, long enough, amply footnoted, no evidence of copyvio (among other things, the article style is very different from the style of the source), hook fact checks out, hook is interesting and is enhanced by the image description, image license is good, QPQ is done. All is good! --Orlady (talk) 00:34, 10 February 2014 (UTC)
