Minye Kyawhtin of Toungoo

  • ... that Prince Minye Kyawhtin, who had raised a rebellion against three Ava kings for over 32 years, was killed by his own bodyguard for sexually assaulting the guard's sister? Sources: See (Hmannan Vol. 2 2003: 64, 94) for the start and end dates of his rebellion, and his assassin's name. See (Sein Lwin Lay 2006: 34) for sexual assault being the reason for the assassination.
    • ALT1:... that right after being pardoned by King Mohnyin Thado of Ava for joining a brief rebellion, Prince Minye Kyawhtin raised a rebellion of his own that would last for over 32 years? Sources: (Hmannan Vol. 2 2003: 64, 94), (Aung-Thwin 2017: 85)

  • New enough, long enough, neutrally written, well referenced. As most sources are offline, unable to check for close paraphrasing. Both hooks are good; offline refs AGF and cited inline. My preference is for ALT0. Images are freely licensed and QPQ done. Good work, as always! Yoninah (talk) 18:25, 7 January 2020 (UTC)
