Norma Cox Astwood[edit]

  • ... that Bermudian Senator Norma Cox Astwood coordinated a women's caucus in 1989 that would become the Commonwealth Women Parliamentarians group?

Nice bio, on good sources. Much ado about her wedding there ;) - I like the ALT, short and sweet. Please look over the universities and schools, some may deserve a link. Berkeley Institute is which one? Harvard is known, but not to all. If you come up with a hook why she was honoured a national hero I will look again. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:12, 10 February 2016 (UTC)
Thank you Gerda Arendt, I suspect Berkeley Institute is the one in Bermuda, but I am not sure and virtually none of the educational facilities in Bermuda have articles. There is one in New York, but I see no ties to her there and could find no definitive answer. The Hamilton Normal School/Hamilton Teacher's College in Canada also does not appear to have an article. I have linked Harvard. The article on the 20 community heroes does not specifically state why any of them were honored, other than that they all made positive change which had "far reaching consequences." That seemed rather vague for a hook. SusunW (talk) 15:16, 10 February 2016 (UTC)
Thank you! If you can find a ref for Berkeley in Bermuda, please add "Bermusda", to avoid others thinking NY, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:26, 10 February 2016 (UTC)
