  • Full review to follow, but I wonder if a better hook could be proposed since I'm not sure if this Silbernes Lorbeerblatt award is well-known enough to work as a hook fact. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 02:22, 14 May 2019 (UTC)
    • Hi Narutolovehinata5 - There are two hooks. Ortmann winning the US open is quite a big deal, even now. Despite not being a particularly well known award, it is the highest form of award for German athletes. I have reworded to say this. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 07:48, 14 May 2019 (UTC)
I'll do the rest of the review soon, but I see some glaring article issues. In particular, the sentences "As well as a pool player, Ortmann is an accomplished poker player." and "Ortmann has also appeared at the WPA World Team Championships [de], in both 2010 and 2012, reaching the quarter-finals in 2010." lack footnotes. Two statements missing a footnote is hardly a glaring issue; however I have sourced/removed. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 11:42, 16 May 2019 (UTC)
  • Sorry for the delay as I had been busy with other nominations. I think this should be good to go now as it meets article and DYK requirements, a QPQ has been done, and I did not find any close paraphrasing. Both hooks are approved: leaving the final choice to the promoter. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 02:05, 27 May 2019 (UTC)
