Phoa Keng Hek[edit]

Phoa Keng Hek

  • Crisco must not be teaching this summer. Long enough, new enough--and now for a closer look. Drmies (talk) 02:20, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
  • Crisco, you're a big fat jerk and you're putting us all to shame, churning out one encyclopedic article (I mean that as a compliment) after another. Article passes muster, BUT, Criscocriscocrisco, you HAVE to do one thing: you must explain THHK in the lead, and with (some) more detail in the text. Even if you only rephrase what's in Suryadinata. And I can say this, since I have a Ph.D. and you don't, so suck it up. Drmies (talk) 02:27, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
  • Wait: I was a bit too quick. I don't like "free" in the hook and the source doesn't really bear it out--it says that he encouraged Chinese and English to help them improve their material condition. "Free" (especially given the historical suppression of the Chinese there) sounds a bit too free. Sorry--make the minor change and I'll rubber stamp it again. Drmies (talk)
  • Used "move freely", as it is in the source. Have added a sentence to the lead too. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 05:48, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
  • Now really good to go. Drmies (talk) 17:58, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
