Rings of Chariklo[edit]

Artist's rendering of Chariklo with its rings

  • ... that the minor planet Chariklo has a ring system (artist's rendering pictured), making it the smallest body known to be surrounded by rings?
  • Reviewed: Not a self-nom.
  • Comment: Currently an ITN candidate. Nomination request on my talkpage.

  • This article is new enough and long enough and the image is suitably licensed. I don't know if any body outside the solar system is known to have rings, but from the article, ALT1 would be better. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 12:16, 9 April 2014 (UTC)

- I think the main hook is cited by the image description at ESO. Alt1 is well reffed as is the article. Image is free. Experienced nominator. Length and age of hook and article are OK. No paraphrasing using dupe detector on main source as best as I could. I have tweaked the main hook to improve readability.. No QPQ required.
