Rise and Kill First: The Secret History of Israel's Targeted Assassinations[edit]

  • ... that according to Rise and Kill First by Bergman, Israel has carried out at least 2,700 assassination operations in a 70 years period since its formation? Source: The Independent

Created by Mhhossein (talk). Self-nominated at 19:51, 26 March 2018 (UTC).

  • @Mhhossein: Unfortunately this article is not new enough. It was moved from Draft space on Mar 18, and nominated on Mar 26. I enjoyed reading it. – Lionel(talk) 07:13, 28 March 2018 (UTC)
Here are timestamps in UTC: moved Mar 19 06:56 UTC, nominated Mar 26 19:51 UTC. Thus nomination was beyond the 7 day deadline.– Lionel(talk) 23:33, 28 March 2018 (UTC)
Are you serious? --Mhhossein talk 11:21, 29 March 2018 (UTC)
Hey: don't get mad at me. I don't make the rules. They want me to make sure the article is no more than 7 days old. So that's what I did. You don't like it, then edit the page and change the rule to 8 days. Problem solved.– Lionel(talk) 02:05, 30 March 2018 (UTC)
PS: You quoted D9. But since we have a backlog that further ties my hands and makes waiving the 7 days impossible.– Lionel(talk) 02:05, 30 March 2018 (UTC)
I tried to let you know that 26-19=7! Thank you anyway. --Mhhossein talk 04:22, 30 March 2018 (UTC)
Note to Lionel: the rule is "within the past seven days" (see WP:DYK), not within the past 168 hours. If you look at the top of the nominations page, the current nominations are always the current day and the seven previous days. Therefore, when this was nominated on March 26, it was new enough, having been moved from draft to mainspace on March 19. I note that you state you're not a DYK expert in another recent review, so perhaps you should leave this to another reviewer going forward. BlueMoonset (talk) 08:44, 31 March 2018 (UTC)
  • Another reviewer is requested. The article is just new enough. --Mhhossein talk 11:29, 29 March 2018 (UTC)
  • New, in time per above, sourced, added an inline citation which checks out, no apparent copyvios. Mhhossein, QPQ needed. --Usernameunique (talk) 20:39, 1 April 2018 (UTC)
Usernameunique: Thanks for the review. QPQ is provided now. Regards. --Mhhossein talk 07:36, 2 April 2018 (UTC)
All set. --Usernameunique (talk) 07:40, 2 April 2018 (UTC)
